Contechs are a longstanding international track 200 company that have been accredited by UKAS Management Systems for both its Quality and Environmental Management. Most recently Contechs Medical became members of Medilink the medical representative body bringing together NHS, Academia and Industry.

 

The company provides an end to end world class service for it's clients with a fully transparent onboarding process and delivery model. This allows for the complete integration of specific client needs into a coherent and approved product.

Contechs Medical are able to provide a combined fast track end-to-end service from design, engineering, validation and testing (to UK CE approval).

 

With years of experience in design, engineering and lean manufacturing, the company continuously strives to improve and adapt to deliver new and innovative production methods. This enables Contechs Medical to be at the forefront of technology, systems and processes.

 

With an impressive and fully scalable manufacturing facility located in the heart of the UK, Contechs Medical has the ability to scale production where necessary to meet the client’s requirements.

To ensure alignment and transparency in the pursuit of repeatable high quality, Contechs deploys onsite dedicated Quality Engineers and Auditors that use the following toolsets:

The Contechs Medical quality management systems in place are used throughout the entire process, regardless of whether manufacturing occurs in-house or with one of Contechs' trusted partners.

 

The Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) process ensures that all partners are continuously monitored for their quality procedures and due diligence. Contechs manage this through a validation questionnaire, onsite presence and understanding of quality control systems throughout.

UK CERTIFICATION

Contechs Medical has established relationships with recognised UK test houses. Contechs provides work packages for products to be fast tracked for certification.

Comprehensive test programmes are generated to deliver the prescribed attributes for materials and processes. These are managed by Contechs Medical Quality Engineers to achieve full UK compliance.

James Feeney
Medical Director Commercial Operations

James studied Advertising and Marketing Communications at the University of Hertfordshire obtaining an honors degree before moving straight into the world of marketing at one of the world’s largest Advertising agencies, McCann Erickson. Whilst there he worked on various blue chip accounts and eventually became Account Director. James left the world of advertising to focus on his own business which he went onto run for the next fifteen years before joining the Contechs Medical division to head up operations.

 

Outside work James enjoys days out at Twickenham and a round of golf when time allows, which he adds hasn’t been very often since starting a family.

Andrew Dixon
Medical Director Product Development

Andrew studied Business before entering into the retail sector. During his career Andrew gained multifunctional management experience and has been awarded significant industry accolades, His most recent roles were as Chief Retail Officer and Retail Director overseeing business on a multinational scale and leading expansion strategy in Blue Chip, Private Equity and Disruptor Start Ups. Andrew joined Contechs Medical to spearhead Business Development & Client Relations and is well placed to leverage his knowledge and previous experience as part of the Contechs Medical team.

Outside of work he enjoys playing and watching tennis, golf and rugby. He loves to cook and enjoys time away with his wife and two children.

Chris Innes
Medical Director
Operations

Chris is responsible for ensuring all product operations within the Contechs Medical portfolio are constantly monitored and evaluated to improve upon whenever possible. 

Chris has held senior commercial roles in large automotive suppliers over his 35 year career. Reporting into the MD for running the Contechs Operations and Systems across the group.​

Chris has graduated with an MBA and has a passion for languages
